I tried and tried and I couldn’t get this filter to fit on my fridge. After comparing it to the one I was taking off, I have a take a knife to it to whittle off a piece on the locking mechanism — then it fit. Other than that, I thought it tasted a little plasticy on the first couple of cups out of it. Overall, though, I thought it gets the job done and saves a few bucks in the process.

I decided to try these simply to save a little money. Mine went in without any problems and haven’t leaked. The water tastes as good as before but I can’t testify as to how long they will last, compared to the name brand, since I have only had it in for a month.
